I'm hoping to get a 36mm OP with steel dial this year (chances aren't great, but .I had a 36mm DJ smooth, blue face on an oyster bracelet on my 7.25 wrist and felt it was a t.
If you got a DJ36 & and a big wrist can you post a pic (and your wrist size). I had a 36mm DJ smooth, blue face on an oyster bracelet on my 7.25 wrist and .
I'm hoping to get a 36mm OP with steel dial this year (chances aren't great, but I can dream), so I totally get the appeal of the watch. That said, I have closer to a 6.5" wrist, so I wouldn't be much help. If you got a DJ36 & and a big wrist can you post a pic (and your wrist size). Your choice is obvious. My wrist is 8" and I love my 36MM Datejust. I've had it 27 years and think it's a classic look, but this might be a generational thing. I have several watches, some as big as 45mm, and a couple sized 34mm. I have a pretty big wrist and a 36mm, I notice it feels a lot smaller after wearing a watch like a yacht master, but after a couple hours of wear it looks and feels like a great size. I initially dismissed the idea of a 36mm watch until I was at the AD trying on a few watches. I had my eye on the Tudor Black Bay 41 but didn’t like the sizing on my 6.75 inch wrist. After trying on the 36mm version and loving it, my sales . While a more classic diameter at 36mm, it still has an impressive weight on the wrist – the precious metal-like heft that Rolex provides in their steel watches. Looks-wise . the modern Datejust offers the same elegant sensibilities as its vintage counterparts.
