The movie could easily become too much as well. That it doesn’t is both admirable and disappointing. On the one hand, Gucci comes so close to flowering into something bonkers that its more moderate tendencies feel like a tease.
Take for example the sweatshirts, hoodies, t-shirts, accessories. They are really poorly designed IMO. The designs on them look like something a 10 year old kid could create on paint. There are tons of other better looking clothing for the same or even lower price. I honestly would much rather buy a hoodie from "Champion" and wear it than gucci.
